Emmy Weber

Passionate about mentoring professional women, Emmy spends her days guiding the marketing department of a major healthcare IT company, and many a morning, evening or weekend helping her large network wherever she can. Recognizing a growing trend of new challenges in her network, she supports Women with Dynamic Purpose, to reach and equip more women to be successful in their careers as they age.  It’s been an exciting journey bringing it all together and one that her amazing husband and three teenage boys have supported all the way.  The dog, well she’s still not too happy about it.

We tried to put into words what we have experienced and see happening.  Sound familiar?

You’ve worked hard to get to where you are in your career – now how do you keep it and keep advancing?

Early in our careers, we balanced love interests, friends, college loans, weddings, and babies, all while working hard and continuing to advance. Now, in our late 40’s and beyond we are juggling tremendous pressures at work (now we’re the bosses) while also possibly raising children, helping aging parents, dealing with illnesses, and trying to find time for our love interests and friends.  Oh, I did not mention menopause but heh let’s throw that in for fun too!

The stressors may change BUT now you have a new wrinkle to contend with, you are a 45+-year-old working woman.  You are now competing with twenty somethings, thirty somethings, forty somethings.  When did this happen? When did we become the old ones in the office? And what does it mean for our careers? Unless you win the lottery, you have to keep working.  Things are just getting interesting. You know what you’re doing, you love your work (hopefully), and you need to work.

But you sense something in the wind.  You don’t feel settled or secure. You’re not sure you’re doing what you’re meant to do.  What you’re feeling is an inevitable shift headed your way.  To deal with your new reality, you need new skills, a new attitude, and a new plan!

That’s where we come in because professional Shift Always Happens™ and we’ve created a community to help you thrive.
